A blockchain is a place where NFTs are managed and secured. It’s a fully decentralized peer-to-peer immutable data storage that is spread over a network of participants, where no single person or group has control and rather all users collectively retain control of it. Blockchains store data in blocks that are then chained together, differing from a typical database.

BenficaNFT's are minted on a private Benfica Blockchain connected to the Polygon Matic mainnet.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and many other utility tokens, NFTs are not mutually interchangeable. NFT ownership and transaction history are secured by a blockchain, providing a unique code ID that no other user can replicate or counterfeit.

A moment is a video-highlight or historic-moment in time captured by video, minted on the blockchain to create a unique digital asset called an 'NFT Moment'. In other words, fans can now own precious moments of Benfica history.

An interactive Moment is a creation of Clancy, where each Moment is designed and combined with other engaging, dynamic elements for the fans to enjoy and explore. BUY A PACK AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Absolutely not! Our platform is built FOR the fans. All Moments received through pack purchases are pre-minted on the blockchain. Thus, all moments transacted on our custom Benfica Digital Collectibles marketplace will also not require the payment of gas fees.

Our customers have two options to buy Benfica video moments: the first - and the only available at the moment - is by purchasing packs in every drop. The second - not available in the Phase 1 of Beta - is by acquiring individual moments from other users in the BenficaNFT marketplace.

Benfica packs contain iconic video collectibles. Each pack contains a number of digital collectibles, depending on the cost of the pack and the series. The more expensive the pack, the higher chance you have to get rarer BenficaNFTs!

Packs can be purchased at each pack drop until they are sold out. Announcement dates are published across our and Benfica social media platforms but most importantly, in the BenficaNFT Discord server!

Our BenficaNFTs have different degrees of rarity: Common, Epic, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Ultimate, and Platinum. The Primeiro Series Moments will consist only of the first four tiers of rarity. The rarer the video collectible, the lower the supply created of that individual Moment.

The serial number is the unique identifier given to a moment within its total circulation. Keep a close eye on the serial number you receive when buying moments, because they may have some significance!

Circulation is the total amount of moments opened by fans who have purchased packs. The supply of each Moment is the total number of copies created of that Moment. Each Moment is different for each rarity level and each unique moment has a unique serial number from 01 to the max supply. The higher level of rarity, the lower the total supply and thus possible circulation of that unique moment.

Using a Web3 wallet such as MetaMask, Trustwallet or Coinbase, is not required to purchase or own BenficaNFTs as we provide a custodial wallet that is fan friendly. At a later date in our roadmap, BenficaNFTs will be enabled for migration to the Polygon Matic mainnet for users to move their NFTs to other third-party private wallets.

The BenficaNFT platform is still in its Beta phase and we will slowly and securely be adding new features, including the marketplace, to the platform that continue to add value to BenficaNFT holders and fans!
